Narishige's BP-1 is a large steel plate compatible with Narishige's universal "Peteruch type" manipulator MP-1/2. Holes are provided for fixing scres made specifically for the MP-1/2 tilting stand, which can be mounted on either the left or the right side. The space in the center is for placing a unit such as a chamber.
