Narishige's GC-1 are standard borosilicate glass capillary tubes, 90 mm in length, and have been pre-washed in an ultrasonic bath, then sterilized with ultraviolet (UV) light and vacuum-packed.

FAQ's

Q: How many capillaries are in a pack of GC-1?
A: A package of GC-1 has 200 tubes whereas G-1 had 500 tubes per pack. Similarly, [page GD-1]GD-1 has 500 tubes per pack vs. the sterile ultrasonically cleaned version of GD-1, called GDC-1 has 200 tubes per pack.

Keep in mind that for use with most needle pullers, depending on your use, the needle puller will pull each microcapillary into two distinct needles, so a package of 200 microcapillaries may allow you to create up to 400 needles.
