Narishige's SR-60 is a stereotaxic instrument is developed for small animals, especially rats. Tilting the AP frame bar, with the manipulator attached, allows approach from the sides for inspections of the auditory cortex, entorhinal cortex, ventral hippocampus and amygdala. A rack and pinion system is used for easy, convenient adjustment of the AP bar angle.
