| MM-89 Motor Drive Manipulator |

The drive unit is compact, light and rigid, allowing
accurate movements in the X-Y plane and giving ample operating space
around the specimen. A new mechanism in the headstage allows pipettes
to be exchanged/repositioned easily. Thanks to the compact, joystick-type
controller, there is sufficient space even when the MM-89 is used
in conjunction with a fine manipulator or injector. The coarse manipulator
is comfortably within reach and to operate.

The compact headstage is kept stable by combining
the wide sliders for all three axis, and employs a vernier type
controller for better operation management than the conventional
key pad system. The drive source is a pulsed motor, for precise
controll, and vibrations are minimized by absorption. A universal
joint provides secure fixing for an amplifier. If required, the
unit can be fixed to the top of an isolation table with the specially
designed GJ-12 magnet stand(optional).
