Narishige's SS-1 provides for measuring action potentials from multiple points, e.g. muscle fibers. This unit features microelectrodes and holders to measure action potentials from such places.

Each microelectrode is mounted on a ball joint, which allows full freedom of movement. If used with a U frame of holders, they can be placed at adjacent positions. The holder is equipped with a vertical adjustment handle, so all the microelectrodes can be moved vertically at the same time.
