Narishige's MO-8 is a pencil type oil hydraulic manipulator: the design was developed to enable easy combination with a three dimensional manipulator. Features include a large cylinder drum, which is easy to manipulate, easy reading of scales and a speed reduction gear to enhance precision movement.
