Narishige's CK-1 is a curved glass bottom chamber dish for immersion lens. For sophisticated observation, the use of a glass bottom dish is essential in connection with the polarization ratio. While disposable glass bottom dishes are already available, we have developed a chamber-type glass bottom dish that enables more sophisticated observation.

The gently-curved chamber minimizes bulges in fluid level and controls polarization. Also stabilizes the fluid surface and facilitates the use of an immersion lens. A commercially available cover glass can be inserted as the bottom that is easy to clean and sterilize, and permits reuse instead of discarding it after use.
