Scientist Profile: Dr. David Baltimore

Dr. Baltimore's research has led to major understandings of animal tumor virus function and the identification of reverse transcriptase.  The lab now studies how the NF-kB transcription factor affects the differentiation of B-cells and other cells, gene delivery to create transgenic immune system cells that target cancer and HIV-infected cells, and Ryk's role in wnt signalling and neuronal guidance.  [More...]
