Stereotaxic Titlting Workstation for Mice

Narishige's SR-50R-HT stereotaxic workstation provides for a tilting facility to enable approach from the sides. This stereotaxic instrument is developed for small animals, especially rats. For mice please consider SR-50M-HT.

The tilting facility makes it possible to approach from the sides for inspections of the auditory cortex, entorhinal cortex, ventral hippocampus and amygdala.

A rigid adjustable stand is used to enable tilting, and a fixing plate is mounted so that the animal does not fall.

The SR-50R-HT comes equipped with an AP frame bar (18.7mm square) to mount attachments since Narishige's stereotaxic manipulators, like the SM-15 stereotaxic micromanipulator, are tailored for this standard.
